HR Intern

About the role

Khawaja Labs is looking for a motivated HR Intern to join its people‑operations team. This remote, entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and day‑to‑day HR coordination within a technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with job posting coordination, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and maintaining recruitment records.
• Support onboarding activities by preparing documents, coordinating joining events, and updating personnel files.
• Update HR databases, trackers, attendance logs, and generate routine reports while ensuring confidentiality.
• Help organize employee engagement events, internal communications, and training logistics.
• Respond to routine employee queries and route complex issues to senior HR staff.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and general HR practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, service‑oriented approach.
• Excellent organization, time‑management, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Collaborative attitude, reliability, and sound judgment when escalating sensitive matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
