Human Resources Generalist – Onsite

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will join the HR team to manage day‑to‑day HR operations, support the HR Manager in strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with privacy and employment legislation. This onsite position requires strong expertise in payroll, benefits, HRIS, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Process bi‑weekly payroll and administer employee benefits in partnership with finance.
• Maintain employee records and update information using Ceridian Dayforce HRIS.
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, ensuring legal compliance.
• Monitor health and safety practices to meet OH&S requirements.
• Assist with HR budgeting and support recruitment activities, including sourcing and screening.
• Provide guidance to leadership on employee performance, misconduct, and attendance issues.
• Deliver training on HR practices to managers and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on HR experience, preferably as a Generalist.
• Experience with workplace investigations and performance management is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
