Human Resources Manager – Islamabad

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will be the senior HR presence in Islamabad, leading a team of HR officers and associates while supporting managers across BoS and the wider Aetheria Group. This hands‑on generalist role combines people‑partnering, policy development and operational HR delivery for both local and UK offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and supervise three HR officers and associates, ensuring high‑quality casework, accurate record‑keeping and timely turnaround.
• Act as the first point of contact for managers on people matters, guiding informal discussions through to formal disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence processes.
• Manage end‑to‑end HR casework, maintaining contemporaneous records that can withstand scrutiny.
• Draft, review and maintain HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and usability for non‑HR managers.
• Support recruitment activities, including short‑notice placements of clinical staff, in collaboration with UK and Dubai HR teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior HR, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager in the United Kingdom.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi‑site or international environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence managers at all levels.
