Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with entity heads and managers, delivering business‑centric HR solutions across assigned units. The role involves close collaboration with HR Centres of Expertise to continuously improve services and support the university’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for business heads, providing proactive advice on HR matters.
• Plan and lead monthly business meetings with assigned stakeholders.
• Identify business needs such as learning, employee engagement, and performance improvement, and relay insights to HR CoEs.
• Coordinate with CoEs to align best practices, develop dashboards, and ensure timely business information.
• Advise on workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational structure to meet unit objectives.
• Support performance‑management processes, including coaching, counselling and career development.
• Drive employee‑engagement initiatives and foster positive work relationships to boost morale, productivity and retention.
• Collaborate with other Business Partners across the university to address performance issues and implement HR solutions.
