Import Sales Specialist - Freight Forwarding

About the role

A company is looking for a proactive, results-oriented Import Sales Specialist to join its team. The role focuses on generating new business, building client relationships and reaching sales targets for import freight forwarding services, helping expand market share in the logistics sector. The position is based in West Wharf, Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients to generate sales leads for import logistics services, including air and sea freight.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and offering tailored logistics solutions.
• Prepare and present competitive quotations and proposals, balancing profitability with customer requirements.
• Negotiate rates and service contracts with clients and overseas agents to close deals.
• Work with the operations team to hand over new business and resolve client issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics, focused on import services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
