Information Security Engineer - Endpoint Security

About the role

An Information Security Specialist is needed to implement and manage endpoint security solutions that protect organizational assets. The role covers Mobile Device Management (MDM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR), working closely with IT teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks and strengthen the security posture against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize MDM solutions, preferably Microsoft Intune, to secure mobile and endpoint devices across the enterprise.
• Implement and maintain DLP technologies, preferably Forcepoint, to prevent unauthorized data transfers and enforce data protection policies across endpoints, email and cloud applications.
• Manage and monitor XDR platforms, preferably Microsoft Defender XDR, including alert correlation, investigation of complex attack chains and orchestration of automated responses.
• Monitor and analyze endpoint security alerts, investigate incidents and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and enforce endpoint security policies and perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis, recommending mitigations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate endpoint security controls into the broader security architecture.
• Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention, and stay up to date on emerging threats and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in endpoint security or a similar cybersecurity operations role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, the threat landscape and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Intune, Forcepoint DLP and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Familiarity with PowerShell or Python is a plus.
