Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our enterprise data‑center infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on support of storage, backup, virtualization, networking, and server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Dell Storage platforms (SAN and NAS) and administer Dell switching infrastructure.
• Monitor Huawei SmartDC power, cooling, UPS, and environmental systems.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication jobs, repositories, proxies, backup copy jobs, and perform file‑level, application‑level, and VM restores.
• Administer tape library infrastructure, including media inventory and off‑site rotation.
• Support VMware vSphere environments – ESXi hosts, vCenter, VM provisioning, and performance monitoring.
• Provide Level 2 support for Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor Microsoft SQL Server health, jobs, and storage utilization.
• Manage endpoint security via Kaspersky Security Center – policies, exclusions, and incident response.
• Develop and run PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and health checks.
• Investigate incidents, collect diagnostics, and coordinate escalations with Dell, Veeam, Huawei, and other vendors.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and inventory records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience supporting enterprise data‑center infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.

Required skills

• Dell EMC PowerVault, SC Series, Unity storage platforms.
• RAID configuration, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SAN/NAS administration.
• Veeam Backup & Replication (v11/v12) – backup jobs, copy jobs, repositories, proxies.
• VMware vSphere – ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning, performance monitoring.
• Windows Server administration – Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Microsoft SQL Server monitoring and backup verification.
• Kaspersky Security Center – policy management and incident response.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Huawei SmartDC power, cooling, UPS, and environmental monitoring.
• Dell networking switches and troubleshooting.
