Investment Manager

About the role

The Investment Manager will lead portfolio construction and management across multiple asset classes, ensuring alignment with Islamic finance principles and the group’s risk framework. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Islamabad and works closely with research, risk, Takaful, and asset‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage diversified, Shariah‑compliant portfolios.
• Conduct market, sector and macro‑economic research.
• Analyze financial data and develop investment strategies and recommendations.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance positions and prepare investment reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and Shariah guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support product development and improve investment outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong background in investment management of diversified, Shariah‑compliant portfolios.
• Advanced analytical skills for financial modeling, data interpretation and performance evaluation.
• Expertise in asset allocation, risk assessment and return optimization.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; CFA, FRM or Islamic finance credentials are a plus.
• Knowledge of capital markets, mutual funds, Islamic financial instruments and Pakistan’s regulatory environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex information clearly.
