iOS Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join a cutting‑edge AI platform as a remote contractor. You will build high‑quality iOS applications that enable domain experts to contribute real‑world data for training frontier AI models across finance, healthcare, engineering and more.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy advanced iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI while following best coding practices.
• Integrate and manage API connections (RESTful and GraphQL) for robust data handling and real‑time functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive, innovative features.
• Optimize application performance to ensure speed, responsiveness, and reliability on all supported devices.
• Apply architectural patterns such as MVC to promote scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure secure and efficient data handling throughout the app lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Swift with a strong grasp of its ecosystem and best practices.
• Experience building user interfaces with UIKit and SwiftUI, emphasizing responsive design and accessibility.
• Solid understanding of API integration, JSON/XML handling, and modern networking techniques.
• Familiarity with MVC or similar architectural patterns and clean code principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication with global teams.
