IT Manager – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

The IT Manager – Infrastructure & Security will lead Midjac’s IT department, ensuring that all network, server and security systems operate smoothly and securely. You will supervise a small team, drive performance improvements, and protect company data through robust policies and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the IT department and a team of two staff members.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor company networks to prevent downtime.
• Implement system performance health checks and resolve technical issues proactively.
• Administer servers and related infrastructure to guarantee optimal uptime.
• Oversee firewall configuration, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide timely troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network problems.
• Handle the full IT asset lifecycle: procurement, inventory, and disposal.
• Develop and enforce IT policies in line with company standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure backup systems and disaster‑recovery plans are regularly tested.
• Train team members on new technologies and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of relevant IT experience.
• Graduate degree in a related field.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Experience managing a small technical team.
