IT Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring availability, scalability, security, and performance across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure on‑premises and in the cloud.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC tools.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability with enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.
• Manage virtualization and private‑cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and resolve incidents.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration‑management best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain backup, disaster‑recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• ELK Stack or Elasticsearch for log management and observability.
• Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
• VMware vCenter or OpenStack for virtualization and private cloud.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Shell scripting or Python for automation.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancing.
• System monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
• Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
• Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix (preferred).
• Git and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Knowledge of security hardening, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
