IT Support Engineer - Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for a highly capable IT Support Engineer in Lahore to provide technical assistance to its staff. The role covers ensuring optimal use of hardware and software, improving system performance and protecting data. It sits within the firm's internal firm services line of service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT assistance to staff and consult with IT managers and other departments as required
• Resolve logged errors in a timely manner
• Monitor hardware, software and system performance metrics
• Update computer software and upgrade hardware and systems
• Maintain databases and ensure system security
• Document processes and perform diagnostic tests
• Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a similar field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT support engineer
• Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
• Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks
• Proficiency in IT helpdesk
• Experience documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
