ITIL / ITSM Instructor – Certified Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) instructor to deliver ITIL 4 training to adult learners. The role involves creating engaging virtual or classroom sessions that demystify the ITIL framework and prepare participants for certification.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ITIL 4 Foundation (and potentially intermediate) training sessions, both online and in‑person.
• Design curriculum materials including slide decks, case studies, process‑flow exercises and mock exams aligned with AXELOS/PeopleCert standards.
• Illustrate real‑world scenarios such as major incidents or failed deployments to teach concepts like CSI, Change Enablement and Service Desk practices.
• Assess student performance, grade assignments, run practice exams and provide remediation for difficult topics.
• Guide learners through creating basic process maps (Visio, Lucidchart) for Incident, Problem, Change and Service Level Management.

Required profile

• Active ITIL 4 Foundation certification; ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching ITIL/ITSM to professionals (corporate training, university, bootcamps).
• Proven record of helping students pass the ITIL 4 Foundation exam.
• Hands‑on familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice or Cherwell.
