Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our fast‑growing business. The role works during US overlapping hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM PKT) and focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, preparing core financial statements, and improving reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update account reconciliations, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and maintain P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements with supporting schedules.
• Support audit, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in enhancing financial reporting systems and ERP tools.
• Execute ad‑hoc accounting, finance projects, and cross‑functional collaborations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; CPA or CPA track required.
• 1–3 years of experience in General Ledger or Financial Accounting, preferably in a high‑growth, high‑transaction environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial close processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
• Experience with ERP/financial tools such as Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central, Hyperion Essbase, BlackLine, Workiva.
• General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Financial Close Processes.
