Junior C++ Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior C++ Software Engineer to join a fully remote development team. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high‑performance software solutions while working within a structured Software Development Life Cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust C++ modules following object‑oriented principles.
• Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimise performance and resource usage.
• Apply best practices for memory management to ensure stability and prevent leaks.
• Design and build multithreaded applications that maximise concurrency.
• Integrate TCP/IP and related network protocols into software components.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities to improve code quality.
• Document designs, changes, and test results and support CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level professional with a solid understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Clear grasp of data structures, memory management, and multithreading concepts.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team and communicate effectively during US working hours.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
