Junior C++ Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking an entry‑level C++ Software Engineer to join its remote development team. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high‑performance applications while working within a disciplined Software Development Life Cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust C++ modules following object‑oriented principles.
• Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimise performance.
• Apply memory‑management best practices to ensure stability.
• Design and build multithreaded applications that maximise concurrency.
• Integrate TCP/IP and related network protocols with software components.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities.
• Document designs, changes, and test results according to established procedures.
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Motivated individual with a strong foundation in C++ and object‑oriented programming.
• Clear understanding of data structures, memory management, and multithreading concepts.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team during US working hours.
• Good communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
