Junior Editor

About the role

Gulf Edge Consulting is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Editor to support the creation and refinement of high‑quality content on a pro‑bono basis. The role involves approximately 10–20 hours of work over a three‑month period, with a certificate of experience provided upon completion.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line editing, copyediting and proofreading of manuscripts to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistent style and factual correctness.
• Craft clear and engaging headlines and deck copy that align with community guidelines.
• Collaborate with writers, designers and producers to manage content review and publishing timelines.
• Ensure compliance with editorial policies and maintain neutral, balanced judgment.

Required profile

• Strong command of English writing conventions and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with typography, structural layout principles and digital print production workflows.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a remote environment.
