Junior Programmer – Web Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Programmer to join our Karachi development team. The role focuses on building and enhancing web features for property listings, tenant management, booking, payment processing, and landlord‑tenant communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain front‑end and back‑end components of our web application.
• Automate Google Workspace tasks using Apps Script.
• Implement user interfaces and APIs for property listings, booking flows, payment integrations and tenant portals.
• Write clean, well‑documented code, unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects, profile performance issues and apply optimisations.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to refine requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with deployment scripts and basic DevOps tasks for staging and production environments.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Google Apps Script and JavaScript.
• Strong HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript framework experience (React, Vue or Angular).
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic SQL query optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git version control, branching workflows and code review practices.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests and debug application issues.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work with remote teammates.
