Junior Software Engineer – Java

About the role

NIQ Brandbank is building a next‑generation Product Information Management (PIM) system that handles massive data volumes with high availability and scalability. As a Junior Software Engineer you will contribute to core Java components, work in agile teams and help deliver reliable, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain Java micro‑services using Spring Framework and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous integration pipelines and ensure code quality, security and robustness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design APIs and integrate with front‑end applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting performance issues in high‑volume, low‑latency environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of commercial software development experience, primarily in Java.
• Experience working in agile (Scrum) teams and delivering incremental improvements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
