Junior Urban Draftsman

About the role

ACE Properties, the real estate subsidiary of ACE Group, is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Urban Draftsman to support the planning, design and execution of urban development and infrastructure projects. You will prepare technical drawings, layouts and documentation while collaborating with architects, planners, surveyors and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and urban planning drawings using AutoCAD.
• Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs into accurate technical drawings.
• Assist in creating plans and layouts for roads, utility networks and other infrastructure projects.
• Update drawings based on design revisions and project requirements.
• Perform area calculations using AutoCAD and Google Earth.
• Organise and maintain drawing files, survey data and project documentation.
• Create KML/KMZ files and convert them into AutoCAD drawings with proper georeferencing.
• Incorporate survey coordinates into project drawings and produce as‑built drawings.
• Visit project sites when required to verify drawings and collect information.
• Coordinate with architects, planners, engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Drafting, Architecture, Urban Planning or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in urban or architectural drafting, preferably on infrastructure or real‑estate projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to visit project sites as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Google Earth and georeferencing techniques.
• Knowledge of KML/KMZ file formats and basic mapping concepts.
