Key Account Manager B2B - Packaging Industry

About the role

People Perfect is recruiting a Key Account Manager for its packaging industry business, based in Lahore. The role moves beyond transactional selling to act as a trusted advisor for Tier-1 global accounts, driving new business, building a strong sales pipeline and handling complex international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition by identifying high-value B2B leads, qualifying opportunities and building a consistent pipeline of enterprise accounts.
• Develop 3-year proactive account plans that map client objectives, find growth opportunities and mitigate competitive risks.
• Build deep relationships across clients' organisations, from Procurement and Finance to R&D and Operations.
• Manage end-to-end B2B negotiations, including complex pricing, annual agreements and credit terms.
• Partner with client R&D and marketing teams on product trials, material reformulations and cost-optimisation projects.
• Act as the lead representative for quality concerns and resolve them quickly.

Required profile

• 5-7 years of B2B account management or complex industrial sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• Background in printing, packaging or global logistics is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle long-cycle decisions with multiple stakeholders and technical specifications, and to stay calm during quality disputes or supply chain issues.

Required skills

• Proven use of ERP systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to track account performance and analyse sales data.
• Negotiation skills and technical literacy on packaging applications, barrier properties and global supply chains.
