Key Account Specialist – Modern Trade (Karachi)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Specialist to join Hayat’s sales team in Karachi. The role focuses on modern‑trade accounts, driving sales growth, ensuring product availability and executing trade activities across key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, distribution and visibility targets for assigned modern‑trade accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers and store teams.
• Execute promotional plans, in‑store activations and point‑of‑buy visibility initiatives.
• Ensure product availability, stock replenishment and on‑shelf execution.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, finance, trade‑marketing and other cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, pricing and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Support trade spending, promotional claims and timely recovery of receivables.
• Prepare account performance reports and provide insights for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in key account management, modern trade, sales or trade marketing, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage modern‑trade accounts and drive sales performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong command of MS Office suite.
