Lead IT Infrastructure

About the role

The Lead IT Infrastructure is responsible for shaping, delivering and maintaining the organization’s core technology platforms. You will guide a team of engineers, align infrastructure investments with business goals, and ensure high availability, security and performance across networks, servers, data centers and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT infrastructure strategy and architecture in line with business objectives.
• Set and enforce standards for networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud and data‑center operations.
• Oversee design, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management of LAN/WAN, servers, storage and data‑center assets.
• Manage cloud and virtualization environments, including Microsoft 365 administration, governance, performance tuning and cost optimisation.
• Develop, test and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Collaborate with IT Security to implement security policies, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Lead, mentor and grow the infrastructure team while managing vendors, SLAs and project budgets.
• Drive automation, containerisation and emerging technologies to improve resilience and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future technology needs.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
