Legal Associate - Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Associate to join our in‑house legal team, focusing on technology and cybersecurity. This hands‑on position works closely with business units, providing real‑time legal advice and ensuring contracts and compliance matters do not hinder growth.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, reseller, OEM, partnership, NDAs, MSAs and vendor contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle for the cybersecurity vertical, from initial drafting through execution, variation and renewal.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to improve turnaround time and consistency.
• Advise business teams on contractual risk, obligations and rights in a clear, commercially‑oriented manner.
• Support data‑protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance across key markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to technology and cybersecurity, flagging material changes to leadership.
• Maintain customer‑facing legal documentation such as terms of service, privacy policies, acceptable use policies and cookie notices.
• Assist with regulatory filings, correspondence and liaison with authorities as required.
• Keep organized contract registers, legal trackers and document repositories for the assigned vertical.
• Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters, managing instructions, correspondence and cost‑effective use of resources.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal legal processes, systems and governance.

• Experience or strong interest in technology and cybersecurity legal issues.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
