Legal Counsel - Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join our in‑house legal team, focusing on technology and cybersecurity. The role is hands‑on and commercially driven, requiring close partnership with business units to ensure legal matters never hinder growth.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, software licensing, reseller, distribution, white‑label, OEM, partnership agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle for the cybersecurity vertical, including drafting, execution, variation, and renewal.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to improve turnaround time.
• Advise business teams on contractual risk, obligations, and rights in a clear, commercial manner.
• Support data‑protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance across key markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments in technology and cybersecurity, flagging material changes to leadership.
• Maintain customer‑facing legal documentation such as terms of service, privacy policies, acceptable use policies, and cookie notices.
• Assist with regulatory filings and liaison with authorities as needed.
• Keep contract registers, legal trackers, and document repositories up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources.
