About the role
We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology company that operates micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. This part‑time position involves ensuring that platform policies comply with local and international regulations while providing practical legal guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
- Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
- Assess intellectual property issues and help mitigate related disputes.
- Support the resolution of user disputes and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
- Monitor evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.
Required profile
- Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
- Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal stakeholders.
