Lifting Equipment Inspector

About the role

The Lifting Equipment Inspector will carry out inspections and certifications of lifting equipment, accessories and appliances in accordance with applicable standards and procedures, supporting the IVS Department at the Lahore office. The role involves managing inspection schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection and certification of lifting equipment, accessories and appliances following API, ASME, LEEA, LOLER and client‑specific standards.
• Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, witness load tests and coordinate non‑destructive testing when required.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports, maintain proper records and clear the backlog of pending inspections.
• Manage work schedules, field assignments and prioritize tasks to meet agreed timelines.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.

Required profile

• LEEA certification – minimum two levels.
• Engineering or DAE qualification.
• HSE training and awareness of local and international LEEA standards.
• At least two years of relevant lifting equipment inspection experience.

Required skills

• Inspection and certification of lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, LEEA and LOLER standards.
• Visual inspection, dimensional checking and load‑test witnessing.
• Coordination of non‑destructive testing (NDT).
