Senior AutoCAD Designer

About the role

The Senior AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, fabrication designs, and models for international construction and steel projects. This role suits a degree‑qualified engineer or architect with proven AutoCAD 3D experience and strong knowledge of construction and fabrication standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for custom and standard access systems.
• Develop fabrication drawings ensuring material and structural accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and architects to ensure project alignment.
• Manage projects through all design phases, including client communication and coordination.
• Conduct site surveys and interpret architectural/structural drawings effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant design, safety, and fabrication standards.
• Mentor and guide junior draughtsmen and estimators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of proven design experience in construction or steel fabrication.
