Lighting Installation & Commissioning Engineer (Part‑time, Project‑based)

About the role

SolutionMall is seeking engineers or technicians with experience in lighting or electrical installation to support local lighting projects on a part‑time, project‑based basis. When a suitable project arises, candidates will be contacted to discuss scope, schedule and compensation before work begins.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of lighting fixtures and related equipment.
• Inspect electrical wiring and equipment connections for safety and correctness.
• Perform operational testing and basic commissioning of installed systems.
• Troubleshoot common installation and operating issues on site.
• Provide regular updates on site conditions and project progress.
• Offer basic operating guidance to client personnel when required.

Required profile

• Experience in lighting, electrical installation or related fieldwork.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and safe working practices.
• Ability to read simple installation or wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with common installation and testing tools.
• Good communication, teamwork and responsibility.
• Willingness and ability to attend local project sites.
