Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Greenovative Solutions Inc., a third-generation plastic recycling company based in Montreal, Canada, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for its Karachi team. You will keep international shipments moving on time, compliant and well communicated, working closely with the Montreal headquarters and with truckers, ocean carriers, freight forwarders and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Track shipments with truckers and ocean carriers and keep clients and agents updated in real time
• Coordinate daily with vendors, customers and freight partners by phone and email
• Work with colleagues across time zones to meet tight documentation and booking deadlines
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents in the ERP system (Odoo)
• Ensure each shipment complies with international export control laws and research regulations, routes and carrier options
• Answer client inquiries, handle special instructions and build strong client relationships
• Find, onboard and manage new truckers, carriers and freight forwarders, and negotiate rates and service terms with logistics vendors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
• Fluent English, with clear written and spoken communication
• Strong organization and ability to manage several deadlines at once
• High attention to detail and accurate, fast data entry
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-changing environment
• Willingness to work shift timings to support international operations

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Nice to have: experience with an ERP system such as Odoo
• Nice to have: knowledge of export documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin)
• Nice to have: experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines or international trade; French or other languages
