M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology, information and internet company on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal expertise for high‑impact mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target entities and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, securities regulations, and compliance matters related to M&A.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Ensure all transaction documentation meets legal standards and mitigates potential liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling M&A transactions.
• Experience with both domestic and cross‑border M&A deals.
