Management Executive

About the role

SGUG Shipping Line & Logistics, a Karachi‑based firm specializing in translation and localization for maritime and logistics clients, is looking for a Management Executive to lead day‑to‑day operations and ensure delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and workload balancing to meet client deadlines.
• Implement and monitor quality‑assurance processes for translations, proofreading, and localization deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact for client inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate terms with vendors and freelancers, and maintain professional relationships.
• Define and document standard operating procedures, identify bottlenecks, and introduce productivity tools.
• Prepare quotes, track budgets, manage invoicing, and control costs to protect margins.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience managing operations or projects in translation, localization, maritime, logistics, or related service industries.
• Strong written and verbal English; Urdu or Sindhi competency is a plus.
• Familiarity with project‑management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 is advantageous.

Required skills

• Computer‑Assisted Translation tools: SDL Trados, memoQ, OmegaT.
• Productivity suites: MS Office, Google Workspace.
• Project‑management platforms: Trello, Asana.
