Manager - Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling

About the role

Lucky Core Industries is looking for a Manager - Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling to join its Polyester business in Lahore. The role drives financial planning, performance reporting and plant controlling, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth, cost optimization and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process for the Polyester manufacturing plant, aligned with business objectives and operational plans.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain and Production teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.
• Perform detailed variance analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identify key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
• Review monthly management accounts, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and prepare reporting schedules.
• Support rolling forecasts, financial planning and business performance analysis.
• Analyze energy consumption and identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities.
• Manage working capital planning, forecasting and performance analysis to improve cash flow and liquidity.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and compliance with company policies and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy and decision support.

Required profile

• CA qualified.
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, reporting, FP&A or plant controlling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in polyester, chemicals, textiles or other process manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, budgeting and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and plant financial performance.
