Manager, Corporate Affairs and Transactions

About the role

The Manager, Corporate Affairs and Transactions supports the bank’s financing, security, M&A and corporate transaction activities. Working under senior guidance, the role drafts and reviews contracts, advises business units and engages with counterparties to ensure smooth commercial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review financing, security documentation and related agreements, liaising with internal stakeholders and counterparties.
• Support M&A and structured transactions, including document review and due‑diligence assistance.
• Provide legal opinions on commercial arrangements and advise business teams on contract impact.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, escalating complex matters when needed.
• Identify when specialist legal support is required and coordinate to control costs.
• Assist in training business teams on legal developments, contract management and policies.

Required profile

• Bar‑at‑Law, LL.M. or LL.B. from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, financing, security documentation and contract review, preferably within a bank, financial institution, corporate legal department or law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to handle matters independently with sound judgment on escalation.
