Manager Finance & Business Partnering

About the role

Waterlink Group of Companies is recruiting a Manager Finance & Business Partnering for its sister concern, Fast Track Projects & Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd. The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance, financial policy and leading the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Compile monthly financial reports and prepare periodic management accounts to support management decisions.
• Generate annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow projections, and analyse variances between budgeted and actual results.
• Ensure timely filing of sales tax, income tax, withholding and other statutory returns.
• Support senior management with annual financial reports and regulatory submissions, and liaise with tax consultants, auditors, banks and regulators.
• Complete and submit SECP returns and maintain statutory records.
• Formulate, implement and monitor financial policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with government authorities such as FBR, SECP, Customs, SESSI and Excise on compliance matters.
• Monitor working capital, banking facilities, cash flow and fund utilization.
• Support management with financial analysis, business feasibility studies and strategic decisions.
• Lead, supervise and mentor the finance team and undertake special assignments as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• ACCA, ICMA, CA (Inter) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, CFS or warehousing is an added advantage.
