Manager Initiatives & Digital Learning (AVP)

About the role

National Bank of Pakistan, a leading bank in Pakistan, is hiring a Manager Initiatives & Digital Learning (AVP) in Karachi, reporting to the Wing Head Learning Strategy & Planning. The role covers designing and delivering digital learning solutions, managing learning initiatives and overseeing LMS operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement learner-centric learning solutions aligned with business objectives
• Coordinate with departments, subject matter experts and trainers to turn business needs into learning solutions
• Develop capability assessments, surveys, simulations and assessment tools using tools such as Mentimeter, Quilgo and Kahoot
• Design structured learning journeys and Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
• Create board games, simulations and gamified learning activities
• Introduce microlearning, gamification and immersive learning via VR/AR/MR technologies
• Build leaderboards to track learning progress and reinforce learners
• Build and manage agentic AI solutions and Learning Bots (chatbots, digital assistants, virtual coaches)
• Oversee LMS operations and learner experience
• Liaise with vendors and agencies, manage vendor contracts and deliverables
• Prepare presentations for leadership reviews and management updates

Required profile

• Minimum graduation from a university or college recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in banking, financial or corporate institutions
• Experience in digital learning preferred
• Masters degree in CS/AI/Data/Electronics/MBA or related preferred
• Certifications in instructional design, digital learning tools, gamification, AR/VR, AI in learning, LMS or LXPO preferred

Required skills

• Digital learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond and Canva
• Knowledge of AI tools, chatbots, agentic AI and workflow automation (e.g. n8n)
• Game design concepts and rapid prototyping
• Excellent communication skills
