Manager / Senior Manager Accounting & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead our Accounting & Reporting function. The role ensures accurate financial accounting, timely period‑end closings, and full compliance with IFRS and local regulations while driving process improvements across the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead period‑end close activities for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets, delivering accurate and timely reports.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entry review, payment voucher approval and accounting adjustments.
• Prepare quarterly, half‑yearly and annual separate and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Fixed Assets processes, ensuring proper capitalization and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors for half‑yearly reviews and annual audits, addressing audit observations promptly.
• Liaise with insurance providers for policy renewals and management.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses for senior management.
• Drive ERP enhancements and process‑improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience in accounting and reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
