Manager Taxation

About the role

GumCorp is looking for a highly skilled Manager Taxation to lead its tax strategy, compliance and planning functions. This permanent position reports to senior leadership and plays a critical role in shaping the company’s tax position worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimise liabilities while ensuring full compliance.
• Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state, local and international tax returns.
• Lead tax audits, represent the company and resolve any issues that arise.
• Conduct in‑depth tax research on complex topics such as international tax, transfer pricing, corporate tax, sales tax and VAT.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and other departments to incorporate tax implications into business decisions.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and adapt strategies to maintain compliance and optimise tax positions.
• Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering a high‑performing environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in taxation covering a broad range of tax areas.
• Proven expertise in tax law, planning, compliance, research, audits, transfer pricing and international tax.
• Strong analytical and data‑analysis skills for interpreting complex financial and tax data.
