Manager – US Human Resources

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – US Human Resources to lead our HR operations from Karachi. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end HR services for a Level 3 Back Office, covering payroll, HR operations, talent acquisition, and learning & development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Assistant Managers, Executives and HR Officers.
• Oversee full‑cycle payroll processing ensuring compliance with US labor laws and tax regulations.
• Administer HR processes through HRIS/HRMS platforms and maintain data integrity.
• Partner with HR to streamline onboarding, manage employee records and safeguard data privacy.
• Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the Back Office.
• Implement and improve HR policies, systems and operational processes aligned with US employment standards.
• Monitor HR metrics, KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead HR projects, handling planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Promote employee engagement, performance management and support training programs.

Required profile

• MBA in Human Resources or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to US HR operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing and motivating HR teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• High integrity and discretion handling confidential employee information.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Paycom, Oracle Fusion or similar global HRIS/HRMS solutions.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll, benefits administration, employment laws and HR compliance.
• Expertise in HR process improvement, automation and operational excellence.
