Manual QA Engineer

About the role

The Manual QA Engineer will plan, organize and execute day‑to‑day testing activities within an agile/scrum environment, collaborating closely with developers, architects and release managers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in scrum and product planning, handling all phases of testing including strategy, planning, execution and reporting.
• Document, communicate and troubleshoot issues, validate and close them before client delivery.
• Collaborate with QA staff to meet daily QA tasks on time with high quality.
• Develop and maintain QA processes, investigate workflows and keep procedures up to date.
• Assist in creating training programs and provide orientation for new QA hires.

Required profile

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 1‑3 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience writing clear test plans and test cases.

Required skills

• SQL and scripting.
• Proficiency with Postman and JMeter.
• Hands‑on experience with both white‑box and black‑box testing.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
