Marketing Planning Executive

About the role

Systems Limited is looking for a Marketing Planning Executive who supports key strategic business decisions through the demand planning process. The role provides clear insight into the drivers of short-term and long-term volume and value growth, using internal and external sources to inform demand planning and meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse socio-economic variables and their effect on consumer and category dynamics, and support forecast changes with local economic environment shifts and their impact on business and competitor KPIs.
• Build short-term sales and demand plans and develop long-term forecasts to support pricing decisions and business recommendations.
• Carry out deep-dive analyses of market performance and trends, producing strategic insights and remedial-action recommendations.
• Investigate and answer key business questions proactively using all available information.
• Evaluate business performance against competitor activity and drive industry analysis, including share and volume projections and scenario development for the IBPM cycle.
• Align marketing deployment and activation with commercial requirements and prepare materials for the IBPM cycle.

Required profile

• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in marketing.
• Degree preferably in Statistics, Business Analytics or Marketing.
• Strong knowledge of multi-category retail and understanding of the IBPM process.
• Good presentation and communication skills and ability to work across functions.

Required skills

• Data analysis and interpretation; analytical and creative problem-solving approach.
• Advanced Excel, including data analysis, modelling and forecasting.
• Power BI.
• Knowledge of data sources.
