Maternal and Child Health District Coordinator

About the role

The Maternal and Child Health District Coordinator will lead the newborn‑safe delivery and early immunisation stream for five pilot Union Councils in Keamari. The role involves coordinating community‑based providers, supervising field staff and ensuring timely vaccination and case closure.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage district‑level implementation across five pilot UCs, including mapping and orientation of TBAs, CMWs and private maternity providers.
• Supervise five UC Field Coordinators, review performance and conduct joint supportive supervision visits.
• Maintain a shared district newborn action tracker, monitor notification timeliness, referral completion, vaccination, registration and case closure.
• Consolidate UC reports into monthly district implementation summaries and develop progress reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) and MBBS.
• At least three years of experience in maternal, neonatal and child health or immunisation programmes.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including supervision of field teams and coordination with government health structures.
• Fluency in Urdu and working proficiency in English; willingness to travel within District Keamari.

• Advanced MS Office skills for data management, tracking and reporting.
