Mechanical DAE – Industrial Heating Solutions

About the role

Encom, a leading provider of industrial heating solutions in Karachi, is looking for a Mechanical DAE to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of boilers, burners, pumps, valves and related equipment. You will work closely with senior engineers, technicians and client representatives to ensure reliable and safe operation of critical plant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installation, inspection, commissioning and preventive maintenance of coal‑boilers, thermal‑oil boilers, burners and associated mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, layouts and technical specifications.
• Perform measurements, alignment, lubrication, component replacement and basic troubleshooting of leaks, vibration, overheating, pressure and wear issues.
• Support site surveys, equipment testing and preparation of service observation reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to meet quality, safety and schedule requirements.
• Maintain tools, work records, inspection notes and material requisitions accurately.

Required profile

• Diploma‑level knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, pumps, valves, piping and industrial machinery.
• Practical understanding of boilers, burners, thermal‑oil and steam systems is preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong commitment to industrial safety, permit procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with willingness to work on client sites in Karachi.
