Medical Billing Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Billing Virtual Assistant to join CodeCure AI’s team in Islamabad. The role supports U.S.-based healthcare providers by handling front‑desk operations, insurance verification, patient communication, and appointment scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits across PPO, Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare plans.
• Schedule appointments, send reminders and follow up with patients.
• Respond to patient billing inquiries and process billing information.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist providers with administrative and billing‑related tasks, including use of billing portals.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance in all interactions and data handling.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant or in medical billing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
• Experience using billing portals.
• Knowledge of Therapy Notes (a plus).
