Medical Doctor – Part‑time Weekend Clinic (Women & Children)

About the role

Dua Health is launching a charitable weekend clinic in Narowal focused on women’s health, pediatrics and primary care. The role is a part‑time, weekend‑based Medical Officer who will provide free consultations and essential medicines to underserved women and children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient consultations for women and children during scheduled weekend clinic hours.
• Assess common acute and chronic conditions, screen children for malnutrition and growth concerns.
• Provide maternal health counseling and general women’s health guidance.
• Prescribe basic medications from the clinic formulary and identify cases needing specialist referral.
• Maintain simple clinical documentation and patient visit summaries.
• Support launch planning by identifying suitable partner clinics and assisting with outreach and coordination.
• Offer local clinical input on feasibility, staffing, referral pathways and medicine requirements.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN or community health preferred.
• Comfortable treating women and children in an outpatient setting.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.
• Organized, proactive and able to assist with early‑stage program setup.
• Prior experience with charity clinics, NGOs or underserved communities is a plus.
