Merchandising Manager Consultant

About the role

Centric Brands is seeking a seasoned Merchandising Manager Consultant to lead end‑to‑end product development, vendor management and price negotiation for its apparel portfolio. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met while driving innovation in merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full product development cycle from concept to shipment, ensuring right quality, vendor, price and on‑time delivery.
• Lead price negotiations, final order negotiations and supplier onboarding.
• Oversee PO execution, monitor commercial KPIs such as on‑time delivery, and resolve critical path issues.
• Guide and develop the sourcing team, conduct seasonal supplier evaluations and capacity planning.
• Maintain and expand the vendor network, conduct performance reviews and optimize the supply chain.
• Coach team members, promote rapid prototyping and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in merchandising within the apparel or fashion industry.
• Strong creativity, technical sensibility for design and up‑to‑date knowledge of merchandising trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
