MERN Stack Developer

About the role

Proto IT Consultants is looking for a motivated MERN Stack Developer to join its development team. You will work on modern, scalable web applications that serve both web and mobile users, deploying them on leading cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full‑stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs for web and mobile consumption.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and fellow developers to define architecture and functionality.
• Ensure applications are responsive, scalable and cross‑platform compatible.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing code for performance.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Participate in code reviews and share technical feedback.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience with the MERN stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
