Mid-level C# Developer (Remote)

About the role

XEPOS LTD. is looking for a mid‑level C# Developer to join its Pakistan engineering hub. The role is fully remote and focuses on building enterprise‑grade web and backend systems, integrating with cloud platforms, and collaborating with UK‑based architects and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C#/.NET applications, including backend services, APIs and web components.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services and cloud platforms.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Profile, troubleshoot and optimise application performance and memory usage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and estimation.
• Support deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines and environment configuration for staging and production.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with solid experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• C#.NET Core.NET Framework
• ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework (or equivalent ORM)
• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs (JSON, HTTP)
• Relational databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Unit testing frameworks: xUnit, NUnit, MSTest; Test‑Driven Development
• Source control with Git and code‑review processes
• Cloud platforms: Azure or AWS, including app services and storage
• CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation
• Asynchronous programming, multithreading and performance tuning in .NET
