About the role
Motive is looking for a Mid-Market Account Manager to drive growth with a select group of large U.S.-based customers. You will leverage your software sales experience to expand relationships, guide customers toward operational, safety, and financial solutions, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and nurture executive relationships with high‑value U.S. clients to generate expansion revenue.
- Conduct deep discovery sessions to align Motive’s platform with customer challenges.
- Deliver tailored product demos, proposals, and strategic account plans.
- Partner with customer success, sales engineers, and data analysts to customize solutions and improve retention.
- Own contract renewals and implement data‑driven retention strategies.
- Address issues promptly, balancing customer success with Motive’s objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably from US, UK, or Canada) or equivalent exposure to US/Canada/UK B2B markets.
- 6+ years of experience managing larger U.S. accounts (≈50 or fewer high‑value customers).
- Proven track record in software sales, ideally within relevant industries.
