Monitoring and Coordination Coordinator

About the role

BrightSpyre is recruiting a Monitoring and Coordination Coordinator for a maternal and newborn health program based at RHC Khalabat Township. The coordinator leads day-to-day project implementation, coordinates with government health authorities and stakeholders, compiles and reports data, and carries out supportive supervision of field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily implementation of project activities at RHC Khalabat Township, aligning them with approved objectives, work plans, targets and timelines, and act as the main field focal point for the Program Manager.
• Develop and monitor activity plans, assign responsibilities, supervise staff, give constructive feedback and hold regular team meetings; identify capacity-building needs and recommend solutions to the Program Manager.
• Build working relationships with the District Health Officer, Deputy DHO, District Health Department, RHC management and other government stakeholders, and represent the project in district-level coordination meetings.
• Compile, consolidate and review project and facility data from government sources, registers, telehealth records and reporting tools, and prepare progress updates for CHD meetings and donor reports.
• Carry out regular monitoring visits, review records and SOP compliance, and support internal reviews, quality assurance, audits and donor monitoring visits.

Required profile

• Masters degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Project Management or a related field.
• Overall 4-5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years relevant; experience in maternal and newborn health programs is an advantage.
